(A) Guidelines.
(1) All residential structures must be on a concrete footer and foundation that meets the Southern Building Code specifications and codes.
(2) All residential structures with a crawl space shall be supported on the perimeter with masonry, and the interior with peers, spacing, and dimensions to meet the Southern Building Code.
(3) All residential structures shall have a base structure of a width of not less than 20 feet.
(4) All patios, porches, decks, and exterior railing shall be constructed of pressure treated lumber, concrete, or weather resistant products engineered for outdoor use.
(5) All residential structures shall have a minimum overhang of 12 inches.
(6) Gales from the top plate line to the roof decking shall be backed with plywood or OSB.
(7) Street parking shall not be longer than 24 hours, and not be an obstruction for emergency vehicles.

(B) Water used for construction. Commencing on September 29, 2003, all water used for construction of lines, sanitizing, and flushing of lines, and water used in testing the water quality and conditions of these lines, be billed back to the construction company. A metering system will be applied to these lines to determine the correct amount of flow used, and proper billing will ensue.
