The city hereby recognizes that the sale of alcohol, beer, and wine, whether wholesale, retail, or by the drink, is thoroughly regulated by the state, and nothing in this chapter shall contradict the laws of the state. The definitions of the terms of this chapter shall be consistent with those found in title three (A.C. §§ 3-1-101 et seq.) of the most current state code.
