§ 30.08 PUBLIC COMMENT; QUESTION; RESPONSE PROCEDURE.
   (A)    Public questions that are posed or delivered at the regular City Council meeting, and not answered at that meeting, shall be documented by the Clerk-Treasurer and forwarded to the Mayor for inclusion on the agenda for the next regular work session and shall be forwarded as well as to City Council members and the Mayor for review prior to the next City Council work session.
   (B)   At the regular work session, the following process should be followed:
      (1)   The City Attorney shall address any questions of law from City Council members or the Mayor and explain or offer any other necessary recommendations.
      (2)   Other questions will be discussed by the City Council at the work session with one of two possible outcomes at the regular work session.
         (a)   No current response with reason for no response:
            1.   Response not appropriate due to litigation or prohibition by law or policy; or
            2.   That further research needed, with the assigned of the question to the appropriate person for further work.
         (b)   Discussion of the question, with the Clerk-Treasurer documenting the response, which will be included in the next month's City Council meeting packet.
   (C)   The following month's agenda should include public questions/comments and responses thereto and placed prior to "Public Comments" section.
   (D)   Each question and the response shall be read by the Mayor, or the City Attorney if a question of law has been presented, during the City Council meeting with discussion by the City Council if desired.
   (E)   All unresolved items will continue to be included on each month's work session agenda until resolved.
