(A)
The regular meeting of the Cave Springs City Council will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the American Legion Building located at 168 Glenwood Ave., Cave Springs, Arkansas, unless otherwise announced. In the case that the American Legion Building is not available for a particular meeting or period of meetings, or in the case of a change of date or time of the regular meeting, the date, time and location of the particular meeting(s) shall be announced at a regular City Council meeting, announced on city social media sites or the city website or otherwise distributed and advertised in order to reasonably inform the public of the change of location. When a regular meeting of the Council falls on a recognized city holiday, the meeting shall be held the same time and place on the next day for which city government offices are open for business, or at such time and place as agreed to by the City Council with such notice to the public being provided as set forth herein.
(B) The place of meeting may be changed for a particular meeting during the course thereof by a majority vote of the Council as required by law. The Council may, by a two-thirds vote of the membership, suspend or reschedule to other times any future regularly scheduled meeting or meetings. Council members, the Mayor and the City Clerk-Treasurer shall attend all meetings of the City Council.
