The driver of any vehicle shall obey the instructions of any parking or traffic control device applicable thereto placed in accordance with the parking and traffic regulations of the town unless otherwise directed by the Town Marshal, subject to the exceptions granted in Title VII: TRAFFIC CODE or by state law. No such regulations shall be effective unless signs are erected and in place at the time of any alleged offense or violation.
