At the first regular meeting in December of each even-numbered year, the Mayor and Members of the Town Council shall designate one of the Council Members as Vice Mayor. The Vice Mayor shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Council and shall perform the duties of the Mayor during the Mayor's absence or disability.
