A. The electrical inspector shall enforce all the provisions of this chapter and the electrical code adopted in section 10-2-1 of this title. Whenever he shall be notified by any citizen of any violation of this chapter or said code or of the existence of any dangerous or defective electrical facilities, he shall make an investigation thereof without delay.
B. Whenever any electrical facilities are found by the electrical inspector to be unsafe or defective or in an insecure condition, he shall notify the owner or person in control thereof, in writing, to repair or remove the defective facilities, and upon such person's failure to repair or remove same within such time as the inspector may deem necessary, which time shall be stated in such notice, the inspector shall cause the service connected to such facilities to be discontinued.
