A. The building inspector shall have the right to stop the construction of any building or structure, or the alteration, repair or wrecking of the same, if same is being done in a careless or reckless manner or in violation of the provisions of this title. (1992 Code § 5-141)
B. Decisions of the building inspector in cases where failure to carry out his orders would endanger life and property shall be absolute and final. (1992 Code § 5-142)
