The current edition of the State Building Code, General Construction, and Fire Prevention Code, as adopted by the State Building Code Council and as amended from time to time, is hereby adopted by reference as fully as though set forth herein as the building code of the town to the extent such code is applicable for safe and stable design, methods of construction, minimum standards, and use of materials in building or structures hereafter erected, enlarged, altered, repaired or otherwise constructed or reconstructed.
