(A) Any person who violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is otherwise provided shall be subject to the penalty in § 10.99.
(B) Anyone violating §§ 131.15 through 131.17 shall be cited by the Chief of Police or one of his deputies. The offender shall pay a civil penalty of $25 into the Office of the Town Clerk within 72 hours following receipt of the citation. If the penalty is not paid, in accordance with G.S. § 160A-175, violation of any provision of §§ 131.15 through 131.17 hereof shall be a misdemeanor as provided in G.S. § 14-4, punishable upon conviction by a fine not exceeding $50 or by imprisonment not exceeding 30 days.
