§ 113.21 OAK ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE FILM GUIDELINES.
   (A)   The Friends of the Oak Island Lighthouse (FOIL) Chairman (or his or her designated liaison) will be the official contact to represent the lighthouse’s interest. This liaison/representative will coordinate with the town's film liaison concerning any issues or requirements the filming company has that will affect the lighthouse use.
   (B)   A representative from FOIL will be on site at all times during any filming or site preparations by the filming company.
   (C)   All modification to the lighthouse proper or grounds must have prior approval from FOIL and the town. Once the filming is completed, the lighthouse and grounds will be restored to its original conditions at the filming company cost and the restoration must be accepted by FOIL and the town before the obligation is completed.
   (D)   All activity that affects the operation of the navigational beacon must have the prior approval of the U.S. Coast Guard. This is a written request outlining the exact conditions and length of requested beacon outage/modification.
   (E)   The filming company will provide liability insurance as required by the town ordinance and will hold harmless and indemnify FOIL and the town of any liability that may occur in the lighthouse or grounds during the filming.
   (F)   No one under the age of seven years old is allowed in the lighthouse above the ground level.
   (G)   The service bucket cannot be used to move individuals up/down the lighthouse; it can only be used for equipment movement.
   (H)   An hourly fee will be charged for the use of the lighthouse and grounds and a signed contract with the Town of Caswell Beach will in place prior to any filming. Invoices will be prepared by the Town Manager .
