The production company will notify all businesses and residences affected by the filming and/or videotaping activity. Notification should take place no less than 14 days prior to the start of filming and/or videotaping. Notification should include information concerning the location and duration of the filming activities as well as specifics regarding lights, noise and special effects. The area to be covered by the notification shall be determined by the
Town Manager
and will vary depending upon the impact of the planned activity. A list of those persons or businesses requiring notification must be forwarded to the
Town Manager
, or his or her designee, ten days prior to beginning of the filming/videotaping. The list should include the name and address of the person contacted and the date the notification was made. The town may deny or revoke permits where insufficient time has been allowed for notification, or when the notification process has been improperly applied.
