§ 34.106 INMATE INTAKE FEE.
   (A)   Purpose. The Cass County Sheriff provides certain hygiene items to prisoners at his/her intake. Cass County, Indiana has determined to adopt a section to offset such expenses associated with providing these certain hygiene items.
   (B)   Amount. The Board of Commissioners of Cass County, Indiana, authorizes the Cass County Sheriff to collect a fee of $15 for each prisoner booked into the Cass County Jail to offset the expenses incurred by the Sheriff’s Department to provide hygiene items.
   (C)   The hygiene items are identified as follows: for women: underwear, bra, comb, all-in-one, toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant; for men: underwear, comb, all in one, toothbrush, and deodorant.
   (D)   The Sheriff shall place the revenue received under this section in a county fund dedicated for the purpose of the purchase of the hygiene items referenced above.
