§ 94.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   (1)   Any person who violates any duty imposed by these regulations described in §§ 94.01 through 94.05, 94.20 through 94.25, and/or 94.40 through 94.45, or commits an act declared to be unlawful and for which no specific penalty is prescribed, or provided by the laws of the state, shall be guilty of an ordinance/regulation violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined for each such offense; $50 shall be fined for the first offense; $100 for the second offense within 12 months of the first offense; and $150 for the third or subsequent offense within 12 months of the second offense.
      (2)   All penalties, fines, or fees (other than the fee for the kennel license) shall be paid at the County Clerk’s office, and all monies collected for penalties, fines, or fees shall be deposited in an Animal Control Non-Reverting Fund.
   (B)   Persons maintaining a kennel without paying an annual license fee by a deadline of May 31, or 30 days after ownership/harboring at a premises, as described in § 94.20, will be subject to a fine not to exceed $25 per dog (deposited into Animal Control Funds), to be paid at the office of the County Clerk.
