SCHEDULE II. SEMITRACTOR AND TRUCK REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Roads where thru traveling trucks are prohibited.
      (1)   The operation of trucks is prohibited on the following roads:
         (a)   On County Road 1250S from County Road 1000E to State Road 18;
         (b)   On County Road 300S from State Road 29 to State Road 25;
         (c)   On County Road 400S State Road 29 to State Road 25;
         (d)   On County Road 800S from United States Highway 35 to County Road 800E;
         (e)   On County Road 800E from County Road 800S to State Road 218;
         (f)   On County Road 900E from County Road 900S to State Road 218;
         (g)   On County Road 900S from United States Highway 35 to County Road 900E;
         (h)   On County Road 1000E from State Road 218 to County Road 900S;
         (i)   On County Road 450W, 550W, and 600W between State Highway 16 and United States Highway 35N;
         (j)   On County Road 50E from the City of Logansport Corporate Limit to County Road 350S;
         (k)   On County Road 350S from County Road 50E to County Road 150E;
         (l)   On Unger Street, Hammon Street, Beal Street, and Minor Street;
         (m)   On County Road 900W from State Road 16 to County Road 500N;
         (n)   On County Road 500N from County Road 900W to county Road 1100W;
         (o)   On County Road 575N from County Road 900W to County Road 1100W;
         (p)   Delaware Road from United States Highway 35 to Kiesling Road; and
         (q)   Water Street from Kiesling Road to Logansport corporate limit.
      (2)   Appropriate signage giving notice thereof shall be erected along the areas identified in division (A)(1) above.
      (3)   All thru commercial trucks are prohibited from using the following roads:
         (a)   On County Road 600E, from United States Highway 35 to County Road 500S; and
         (b)   On County Road 500S, from County Road 600E to United States Highway 35.
      (4)   No multi-axle motor vehicle or truck may use engine compression braking (otherwise known as compression-release braking, or “Jake Brakes”) or other operation of any mechanical exhaust device designed to aid in the braking, decompression, or deceleration of any motor vehicle which results in the excessive, loud, unusual, or explosive noise from such vehicle upon Monticello Road and West Market Street from the City of Logansport corporate limit west to the United States Highway 24 and 35 intersection.
      (5)   No multi-axle motor vehicle or truck may use engine compression braking (otherwise known as compression-release braking, or “Jake Brakes”) or other operation of any mechanical exhaust device designed to aid in the braking, decompression, or deceleration of any motor vehicle which results in the excessive, loud, unusual, or explosive noise from such vehicle upon Monticello Road from the City of Logansport corporate limit east to the United States Highway 24 and 35 intersection.
   (B)   Definitions. For the purpose of this schedule, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      SEMITRAILER. Every vehicle with or without motive power, other than a pull trailer designed for carrying persons or property and for being drawn by a motor vehicle, and so constructed that some part of its weight and that of its load rests upon or is carried by another vehicle.
      THRU TRAVELING TRUCK. Any truck not having an origin or destination on said section of roadway.
      TRUCK TRACTOR. Every motor vehicle designed and used primarily for drawing other vehicles and not so constructed as to carry a load other than a part of the weight of the vehicle and load so drawn.
   (C)   Violation. No truck tractor drawing a semitrailer shall exit from State Highway 25 onto County Road 200S in an easterly direction, all in the county, nor shall any truck tractor drawing a semitrailer enter onto State Highway 25 from County Road 200S from the east, all in the county.
   (D)   Penalty. Any person violating any provision of this schedule shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100 together with court costs.
