If the City Council designates an area meeting the criteria of § 132.01 to be a drug-free zone, the City Council shall do so by ordinance. The designation shall be valid for a period of three years. The office of the City Law Enforcement Officer is directed to report to the City Council at least 90 days before the end of the three-year period, as to whether there is a need to reauthorize or re-configure the drug-free zones enumerated in § 132.07.
