In a prosecution of a person for failing to supervise a child under § 131.50(A):
(A) The Court may order the person to pay restitution under state law to a victim for pecuniary damages arising from the act of the child that brings the child within the jurisdiction of the juvenile court; and
(B) The amount of restitution ordered under this section may not exceed $2,500.
