§ 131.22 ARRESTING OFFICER’S DUTIES.
   The arresting officer or officers shall be authorized, in addition to any other remedies provided by ordinance or statue for violation of this subchapter, to act as follows:
   (A)   If the officer has reasonable grounds to believe that the parents of the minor are failing to exercise proper control, care or custody of the minor, take the person directly before the court having juvenile jurisdiction in the county where the arrest was made;
   (B)   Take or send the minor to his or her residence and notify the parents, guardian or person having the care and custody of the minor concerned in the violation;
   (C)   May retain the juvenile at the City Hall under restraint and if necessary place him or her in the cell block required therefor, and notify the parents or those having the control of the child, and hold such child until the parents have come to take the child to his or her abode; and/or
   (D)   Any combination on the above.
