For the purposes of this title, motor vehicles shall be divided into the following divisions: first, vehicles which are designed for the carrying of not more than seven (7) passengers; second, those vehicles which are designed and used for pulling or carrying freight and also vehicles designed and used for carrying more than seven (7) persons.
