Vehicles, registered, or proposed to be registered, pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, shall be subject to inspection before issued said registration sticker. The inspection, is only required for the first year of registration or if a sticker lapses by more than thirty days or if there had been a violation of this chapter or State Law. Vehicle owners may obtain an inspection form from the City of Carthage Police Department. The City of Cartilage Chief of Police, or his/her designee, will oversee the scheduling and execution of said inspections and will be provided completed form by the owner. (Ord. 2022-7, 6-28-2022)
