(A) Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not less than seventy five dollars ($75.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00). This chapter shall not be deemed to be violated unless the alleged violator knew, or should have known after a reasonable inquiry, that the dog which is the subject of the alleged violation is a dangerous dog under the provisions of this title.
(B) Any owner who fails to register the dangerous dog with the City Clerk within the required three (3) days will result in the dangerous dog being impounded by animal control. (Ord. 2015-3, 9-22-2015)
