(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any cannon, rifle, musket, shotgun, pistol or other firearms, except in case of urgent necessity, or except by the permission of the City police. (Ord. 13, 12-5-1908; amd. 2018 Code)
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any rifle, pistol or other firearms of like character upon, over or adjacent to the body of water known as the Carthage Lake or the reservoir supplying the water to the City.
It shall be unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any musket, shotgun or similar firearms upon, over or across Carthage Lake or the territory adjacent thereto or any other City property, except by permission of the City Superintendent of the Waterworks of the City. (Ord. 447, 10-3-1938)
