The Fire Department shall also elect a Treasurer of the Clipper Fire Department of the City, which Treasurer shall, before entering upon his duties, give a bond in the penal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) to the City, conditioned according to law for the faithful performance of his duties as such Treasurer.
