It is hereby made the duty of the Fire Chief to report to the City Council at the stated meetings thereof, any and all breaches of this chapter, and the results of any and all examinations made by him in pursuance of this chapter; and when any changes or repairs are ordered by him in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, to report the same and also, whether or not such repairs or changes have been made.
