The purpose of this plan is to provide a plan of action to meet the need of handling emergencies requiring the coordinated efforts of the town Departments, other government agencies, and support organizations to quickly and effectively deploy personnel, equipment, and resources in a coordinated effort to minimize the effects of the disaster, and to provide assistance to the citizens of the town.
