The Town Planning Board shall consist of seven voting members. Five voting members shall reside within the town and shall be appointed by the Board of Commissioners for three-year terms. Two voting members shall reside within the town’s extraterritorial planning and zoning jurisdiction and shall be appointed by the county Board of Commissioners for three-year terms. All voting members shall be persons of recognized experience and qualifications and shall hold no other official position except on a Board of Adjustment, unless otherwise approved by the Board of Commissioners. All members of the Planning Board shall serve without compensation. Vacancies occurring otherwise than through the expiration of term shall be filled for the unexpired term by the Board of Commissioners.
