§ 96.19 AUTHORITY TO GRANT ALTERNATE PERMIT.
   The Chief of Police, in denying an application as submitted, may grant a permit for a date, time, and/or place, or over a route different from that named by the applicant, or subject to stated requirements and conditions. An applicant desiring to accept an alternate permit shall, within 24 hours after notice of the action of the Chief of Police, file a written notice of acceptance with the Chief of Police, on a form supplied by the town.
