The following response examples are exempt under this article and cannot be considered as qualified calls or used when responding to a property under this article:
(A) A crime in progress in which the safety of person(s) are at risk.
(B) Any state or federal mandated reporting situation, which is out of the reporting person's control.
(C) Motor vehicle accidents.
(D) Domestic violence, family disputes or a person being on or near the premises in violation of a protective order.
(E) A medical emergency.
(F) Mental health incidents that require professional intervention such as:
(1) 988 services or an emergency examination request; or
(2) Working with or under the care of a mental health professional.
(G) An incident or arrest for violation of trespass or an arrest by warrant.
(H) A property owner taking action pursuant to § 8-402.1 of the Real Property Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
(I) Follow-up investigations for an existing response call shall not count towards determining excessive responses for the given calendar year.
(J) A citizen reporting a disturbance at or on a property owned by another.
