The contractor shall take all appropriate measures to assure that, during the performance of the excavation work, traffic conditions shall be maintained as nearly normal as practicable, at all times. The contractor shall route and control traffic including the contractor’s vehicles in accordance with the Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways Manual, as adopted by the State Highway Administration.
