§ 91.004 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning. Any term not defined in this chapter shall have the meaning as defined in any chapter of the County Code. Any term not defined in the County Code in any chapter shall have its generally accepted meaning.
   ADEQUATE AND RELIABLE WATER SUPPLY. A water supply that is sufficient every day of the year to control and extinguish anticipated fires in the protected area, building, or building group serviced by the water supply.
   EXPOSURE HAZARD. Any structure, 100 square feet or larger, that is within 50 linear feet of another structure.
   FIRE COMPANY HAVING JURISDICTION. The fire company whose area of responsibility lies within the boundary established on the fire district map.
   FIRE GROUND. The area immediately surrounding, and including, a structure or area involved in fire.
   FIRE OFFICIAL. The Carroll County Fire Protection Engineer or his or her designee.
   MINIMUM WATER QUANTITY. The quantity of water required for fire control.
   OCCUPANCY HAZARD CLASSIFICATION NUMBER(OHCN). A series of numbers from three through seven that are mathematical factors used in a formula to determine total water supply requirements of this chapter.
   SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN or SITE PLAN. As defined in Chapter 155.
   SPECIFICATIONS.  Specifications for Underground Water Storage Tanks for Fire Protection, as adopted by the county.
   STRUCTURE. Any building occupied or intended to be occupied.
   VOLUME. To be measured in cubic feet or gallons, as applicable.
