The county does not discriminate or tolerate discrimination against any employee on the basis of age, religion, gender, gender identity, race, color, national origin, genetic information, sexual orientation, pregnancy or maternity, veteran status, marital status, physical or mental disability or any other status protected by federal or state law. Likewise, the county does not tolerate sexual harassment or retaliation against any employee or by any employee. An employee subjected to any form of discrimination, including sexual harassment or retaliation, is entitled to a prompt, fair resolution.
