(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to fire or discharge on any street, public parkway, public alley or other public place or way within the village or out of doors of any place within the village within 1,000 feet of any such public way any air gun, air rifle or air pistol, spring gun or spring pistol or other projectile-type weapon device, which is calculated or intended to propel or project a bullet, pellet, arrow or similar projectile.
(B) Weapons used in violation of this section shall be forfeited to and confiscated by the village.
