The Mayor or a Trustee and the Manager, Finance Director or Treasurer must sign all checks for the withdrawal of funds so that each check shall have the signature of an elected official or employee of the village. However, a facsimile signature of the Mayor and the Finance Director or Treasurer may be affixed to such documents by the Finance Director or his or her designee by means of engraving, imprinting or other means of reproducing the manual signatures.
