Within the triangles described in § 40.41, and except as provided in § 40.43, it shall be unlawful to install, set out or maintain, or allow the installation, setting out or maintenance of, any sign, hedge, shrubbery, tree, natural growth, earthen berm or object of any land which obstructs cross-visibility at a level between 30 inches and 72 inches above the level of the center of the adjacent intersection.
