3-2-5: BOND:
   A.   Bond Required: Each applicant for a license shall file with his petition a joint and several bond executed by the applicant with not less than two (2) good and sufficient sureties residing in the State or, in lieu thereof, a surety company licensed to do business in the State, to be approved by the Liquor Control Commissioner, in the penal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), conditioned for the faithful observance by the licensee of the laws of the State and of the United States relating to the sale of alcoholic liquors and the provisions of this chapter and other ordinances of the City relative to such sale.
   B.   Forfeiture Of Bond: If a licensee shall be convicted of the violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, or of violating any law of this State or of the United States relating to the sale of intoxicating liquor, or if his license shall be revoked and no appeal is taken from said order of revocation, or if any appeal taken therefrom shall be decided adversely to the licensee, said bond may thereupon be declared forfeited by the Liquor Control Commissioner, and the City shall be entitled to recover the penalty of such bond by appropriate action in any court having jurisdiction.
