6-1-9: ENGINE BRAKING:
   A.   It shall be unlawful to operate or activate any engine braking system, aka "jake brake", that emits excessive noise.
   B.   Any person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than seventy five dollars ($75.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each offense. (Ord. 1412, 8-18-2009)
