5-1-13: DAMAGE TO CITY PROPERTY:
   A.   Report Required: Personnel shall immediately report, in writing, all damage to police vehicles and equipment, or file such reports which contain all known facts surrounding the cause and nature of the damage.
   B.   Returned Uniforms And Equipment: All uniforms, badges, ID cards, and equipment issued to officers of the department must be returned in serviceable condition prior to issuance of the final payroll check and pension refund check, except, the chief of police, with the consent of the police commissioners, may remove from service and present to the officer any items of issue at the end of twenty (20) years of service or less than twenty (20) years of service if the officer is retired for medical reasons.
