5-1-12: CIVIL COURT APPEARANCES:
   A.   Testimony Restricted: Officers shall not testify in third party civil actions or hearings unless legally subpoenaed.
   B.   Subpoenas: Officers shall accept all subpoenas legally served.
   C.   Notice Of Deposition Or Testimony: Officers shall notify their superior before giving a deposition or testimony in any civil case.
   D.   Compensation For Testimony: Officers shall not enter into any financial understanding for appearances prior to any civil trial except in accordance with written permission of the chief. (Ord. 1017, eff. 4-16-1981)
