A. Operation Of Vehicles: Officers shall operate official vehicles in a careful and prudent manner, and shall obey all laws and departmental procedures pertaining to such operation.
B. Loss Or Suspension Of Driver's License: Loss or suspension of an officer's driving license shall be immediately reported to the officer's superior.
C. Persons Riding In Vehicles: No person will be allowed to ride in official vehicles except sworn officers of the department, individuals detained or being transported in the course of official law enforcement, or others specifically approved in writing by the chief. (Ord. 1017, eff. 4-16-1981)
