§ 36.156 INSPECTION AUTHORITY.
   (A)   An officer or other employee of the District duly authorized to administer and enforce the rules and regulations of the District may, upon exhibiting proper credentials and identification, request permission to enter in and upon any and all buildings, industrial facilities, other properties for the purpose of inspection, reinspection, observation, measurement, sampling, testing and otherwise performing such duties as may be necessary in the enforcement of the provisions of the ordinances, rules and regulations of the District. If permission is granted, the officer or employee shall enter and perform the duties he or she is there to perform. If permission is not granted, in addition to other available options, the officer or employee may request the District to seek a warrant to inspect pursuant to the Cal. Code of Civil Procedure §§ 1822.50 through 1822.59.
   (B)   Notwithstanding division (A) above, if, in the reasonable judgement of such duly authorized officer or employee, there exist on or in a building, industrial facility or other property circumstances that he or she reasonably believes requires immediate inspection to prevent physical harm to any person or harm or damage to such premises and/or adjacent properties, the officer may enter immediately with or without permission to observe and address the circumstances.
