No officer, agent or employee of the Municipality shall be personally liable for any damage resulting from any official determination, order or action required or permitted in the discharge of his or her duties under this chapter. The Municipality shall defend and indemnify the employee or official specifically designated and authorized to make such official determination, order or action.
