(a) The hunting of animals or fowl within the Municipality is prohibited. No person shall hunt, kill or attempt to kill any animal or fowl by the use of firearms or any other means. However, the Chief of Police may authorize the hunting and killing of animals deemed to be a nuisance provided that the hunting and killing can be done without risk to the public and that all other State and Federal regulations pertaining to the hunting of those animals is followed.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
