(a) Establishment. There is hereby established the position, within the Police Department, of part-time police officer.
(b) Authorized Number of Positions. The number of part-time police officers shall be determined by the Manager of the Municipality.
(c) Residency. Part-time police officers shall reside within a reasonable distance to the Municipality within the guidelines established by the Manager.
(d) Supervision. Part-time police officers shall be under the supervision of the Chief of Police.
(e) Rules and Regulations. All rules and regulations applicable to full-time police officers shall also apply to part-time police officers.
