(a) The Mayor is hereby authorized to reserve such loading zones within the Village as he deems necessary for the public safety and welfare.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person to park or stop in any loading zone and/or to obstruct any loading zone area designated, for a period exceeding fifteen minutes, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, excepting Sundays and legal holidays.
(c) Any person violating the provisions of this section as above related shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) and not more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each offense.
(d) For the purpose of this section, the term “loading zone” means those areas hereinafter designated, which are reserved for the purpose of loading or unloading commercial vehicles. (Ord. 2-2-60. Passed 2-2-60.)
