709.05 ENFORCEMENT.

It shall be the duty of any police officer of the Village to require any person seen soliciting, or canvassing who is not known by the officer to be duly licensed registered, to produce his solicitor's or canvasser's license or registration, and to enforce the provisions of this chapter against any person found to be soliciting.
