The Cardington Planning and Zoning Commission is hereby created. The Commission shall consist of the Mayor, (3) residents appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council, each for a term of (3) three years, one member elected from Council for the remainder of his term will serve as a voting member. Members of the Commission may be removed from office by the Council, for cause upon written charges and after public hearing. Vacancies shall be filled by resolution of the Council upon recommendation of the Mayor for the unexpired term of the member. The Mayor shall serve as Chairman of the Commission. (Ord. 97-3.
