945.01 DEFINITIONS.

   As used in this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   (a)   "Animal" or "animals" means all quadrupeds, simians, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and spiders.

   (b)   "Department" means the Village of Cardington Police Department.

   (c)   "Administrator" means the Village Administrator or his/her designee.

   (d)   "Enforcement officer" means any Village employee whose duties include enforcement of ordinances of the Village relating to public parks; any police officer of the Village, and any employee of the Village of Cardington assigned to Village parks.

   (e)   "Motor vehicle" means any vehicle propelled or drawn by power other than muscular power (excluding models and toys that this chapter regulates).

   (f)   “Park" means land or water area owned, leased or otherwise controlled by the Village and intended for public recreation, including bikeways, greenways, linear parks, transportation corridors, and staging areas.

   (g)   "Person" means any individual, company, partnership, corporation, association, any combination of individuals or any employee or agent or officer thereof.

   (h)   "Vehicle" means everything on wheels (excluding models and toys that this chapter regulates).
