(a) Property owners shall comply with all instructions and requirements issued by the Building Department regarding the display of new addresses on their respective properties. Within 30 days after receiving written notification of an address change, the owner of an existing structure must display the new numbers following the City's Building Code and remove all obsolete numbers.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person, whether the owner or occupant of the structure, building, unit, or any apartment therein, to place, maintain, or allow to remain thereon any number other than the one assigned by the Building Department. Failure to comply with the provisions outlined in this chapter may result in penalties as established by applicable laws or regulations.
