Action taken by the city pursuant to this chapter shall not affect the ability of the city to proceed under the jurisdiction of the city’s municipal court, and the city may elect to pursue substandard building remedies pursuant to this subchapter, applicable state law, or municipal court proceedings without limitation and in combination where applicable.
