§ 52.16  UTILITY PROFILE.
   (A)   See Exhibit 1 to Ordinance 2019-8 for the Utility Profile as required by 30 TAC § 288.2(a)(1)A.  Exhibit 1 is incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein.
   (B)   Population. Canton's current population is estimated to be 3,581. It is projected to be 3,963 by 2020.
   (C)   Customer data and water use data.  Canton's water customers are categorized as either residential (80%), or commercial (20%). Schools are categorized as commercial.
   (D)   Water supply system data. Canton's primary source of water is from the Mill Creek Reservoir located in the City of Canton. The surface water treatment plant was constructed in 1986 and has a design capacity of 2.17 MGD. Canton has three groundwater wells. Well No. 4 has a capacity of 180 GPM and is located on State Highway 19 approximately 800 feet south of State Highway 243. Well No. 5 has a capacity of 365 GPM and is located at the Surface Water Treatment Plant on Arnold Paul Rd. Well No. 6 has a capacity of 176 GPM and is located behind the police station on State Highway 64 E.
   (E)   Wastewater system data.  Canton's wastewater system serves approximately 85% of the water system customers. The wastewater treatment plant process is activated sludge operated in the single stage nitrification mode and has a design capacity of 1.3 MGD.
